Mali Community

We are traditionally gardeners and the word Mali is derived from the Sanksrit word mala (garland). We are also called Phul Mali. Not all the members of our group have the same origin, culture and history. One of our member groups from Rajasthan, Rajput Mali, has a distinct character and bloodlines coming from the Rajput tribes they originated from.
